About
I am a multidisciplinary creative and aspiring front-end developer with a fine arts background, studying Multimedia Design at KEA in Copenhagen. I am currently seeking an internship in front-end development, hoping for a position where I can pursue hands-on web programming while still being able to draw upon and utilize my visual arts background.
Front-End Development
In the course of the first two semesters in multimedia design, I discovered strong interest in front-end development and learning all the 'magic words' involved in coding and creating ever-better websites. I am interested in all facets of front end, from the visual to the technical.
Digital Design
I have always had a passion for good craftsmanship and design in many forms. Drawing on the training I received with my BFA as well as my working background in glass, I bring a sharp eye for detail and harmony to my digital work, and strive to create visually pleasing and effective solutions.
UX UI
I am fascinated by the logic and psychology behind good UX and UI design, and enjoy keeping up to date with current trends and best practices.
Etc.
Outside of studying at KEA, I have worked professionally as a glassblower for the past 10 years in a variety of settings, from private studios to factory work, as well as teaching. As a result of these experiences, I deeply value quality craftsmanship and good teamwork, and have developed a borderline unhealthy attention to detail. From glass to music to coding to design, I am extremely motivated by the desire to constantly improve my knowledge and abilities. When not blowing glass or studying, I can usually be found playing thrash metal with my band Terminalist, either at our practice space in Nørrebro or at various venues around Denmark.
